Increased Reports of Scams Involving the Name of Del Mar Energy

Del Mar Energy is aware of recent cases where unknown individuals and organizations have been impersonating company representatives in order to distribute fraudulent investment offers and conduct phishing operations. These scammers commonly use email, messaging apps, fake websites, and social media accounts to promote non-existent investment opportunities and to pressure individuals into disclosing personal information or transferring funds under the guise of “investments,” “mining,” or “promotional offers.”

Be aware of the following signs of fraud:

  • Contact is made using unofficial email addresses that do not match the corporate domain of Del Mar Energy (e.g., gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc.);

  • Emails are poorly written, containing numerous spelling and grammatical errors;

  • Unrealistic promises of high returns or bonuses with no substantiated basis;

  • Requests for sensitive personal information such as passport details, banking information, or the 12-word recovery phrase for a crypto wallet;

  • Payments are requested outside of Del Mar Energy’s official investment platform.
